Henry Mphwanthe

Henry Mphwanthe is the Founder and Chairman of Tech265, where he provides strategic leadership and long-term vision for the company’s mission to drive technology-enabled innovation and digital transformation. With a strong commitment to leveraging technology for economic development, Henry supports initiatives that foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive growth in Malawi and beyond. Henry is a FinTech Leader and also leads FastKwacha LTD, a digital payments platform focused on advancing financial inclusion across Africa. Previously, he served as Chief of Staff to Mr. Strive Masiyiwa, Executive Chairman of Cassava Technologies, where he gained extensive experience in pan-African technology strategy, leadership, and impact-driven innovation. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Oxford and a Master’s degree in Economics with distinction from the University of Sussex. Henry is currently an Executive MBA candidate at Oxford, further strengthening his global business and governance expertise. Through his leadership roles, Henry is committed to building scalable, locally relevant technology solutions that enable broader participation in the digital economy.
